Get Involved
Join with your neighbors and help make a difference in a young person's life and in the health of your community.
Grandparents, teachers, coaches, medical professionals, clergy and responsible adults from all walks of life are needed to help guide children towards healthy lifestyles.
Today's young people want and need fun, challenging ways to spend their free time. And they need positive, successful role models who care, who listen, who can help them recognize and build their own strengths.
There are as many ways you can help as there are kids. You can work one-on-one, with a group or with people of any age. You can work to gain the support of community leaders or behind the scenes. You can even help start a drug prevention coalition in your community.
Just a little of your time can make a lifetime of difference. How much time you invest is entirely up to you. It can be a short-term or long-term involvement. An hour a week or a few hours a week or month -- whatever you can spare -- can have a significant impact on your community.
Here's how to help your kids live, learn and play drug free.
